How it all started
I’ve worked within fashion for a number of years and want to use my experience to create an ethical label that actively goes slow in an industry that favours speed. Inspired by the concept of a Capsule wardrobe, Kapsel Store offers limited-edition batches of sustainably and ethically made clothing. We want to combat the industry’s toxic impact on both garment workers and consumers. So, we’re partnering with an Indian manufacturer who draws on solar power and water energy, hand-weaves their fabrics and prioritises the wellbeing of their staff. Each style will be made to order, minimising waste and promoting a responsible approach to shopping. Our first dress will be available to pre-order this autumn.
